Tim began developing websites by hand in the mid-1990s, and has been a committed programmer ever since.  He holds degrees in government, law, and public policy from Georgetown University and resides in Washington, DC.

Tim is an accomplished iPhone and iPad developer. He has followed this young platform from its inception, and already has several years of experience developing apps. His first iPhone application, a Netflix queue management app called Queuetastic, debuted on the App Store in November 2008. In November 2010, he released a second application, titled Tunnels DC, designed to help users navigate the Washington, DC Metro system. The app uses the iPhone’s GPS receiver to locate the nearest stations, display individual station entrances on a map, and list the next arrival time for trains in each station.

Prior to joining GreenRiver.org, Tim worked as a user interface developer at Salsa Labs, a DC-based company that provides online organizing tools to political candidates and non-profits. At Salsa, his duties focused on ensuring that an extensive set of tools worked together smoothly and presented users with an intuitive interface.

Tim is GreenRiver.org's only tenor!  He sings with the 18th Street Singers and designed and built their excellent website.
